For a precise, fast and gradual control of the valve, it must react quickly to changes in the control signal. In practice, due to the number of control loops and the large distance of the control room from the valve, we need a tool called a positioner to apply the control more accurately and faster. Depending on various mechanisms such as mechanical, pneumatic or electrical, in addition to increasing the transmission of pneumatic pulse from 3-15 psi, but also with the feedback it receives from the position of the valve, it controls the valve.
